Collection of Evidence

Collection of Evidence is an alternative assessment tool for various subjects, but especially math and science for the State of Washington.  For more information, see this web site:

http://www.coe.k12.wa.us/coe/site/default.asp

OSPI is hosting a short  informational PPT here.

There is also an OSPI Moodle out there for people interested in COE, you are welcome to register for Moodle “classes” on various topics run by people at OSPI.

Note:  my expectation is to be interning at Highline Big Picture in the Fall and so alternative assessments are quite interesting for students that have been disaffected by traditional math/science education.
